Mornings Crisp
This photo was taken to capture the details of a leaf one early morning. Looking at the two pictures, the picture on the left is the original. I wanted to colors to be more real, catchy and show the deep detail in the folds of the leaf. When I edited the photo I used the cropping tool to center the leaf. I adjusted the midtones, focusing mainly on maintaing a balance of the lightness and darkness. My goal was to bring out the contrast of color as the leaf had many folds in it, and when I made my picture with darker tones, the background darkend, which I feel helped bring out greater details in the leaf. This photo is a type of feature photo because it is timeless as many people can experience it on any cool morning.
